 <\/span>Nach Angaben seiner Familie war Foridul ein gesundes Baby und fing mit neun Monaten an zu laufen. Allerdings bemerkten seine Eltern, dass Foridul anders ging als seine f\u00fcnf Geschwister. Er taumelte und wurde schnell m\u00fcde. Nach Untersuchungen wurde bei ihm eine Zerebralparese diagnostiziert.\nEr besuchte die Schule bis zur sechsten Klasse, konnte aber mit den anderen Sch\u00fclern nicht mithalten und machte kaum Fortschritte. Er hatte keine Freude in der Schule und lief im Alter von zw\u00f6lf Jahren von zu Hause weg. Er fand Arbeit auf einer Rinderfarm, konnte dort aber nicht lange bleiben und kehrte nach sechs Monaten nach Hause zur\u00fcck. Seine Familie sah ihn mehr und mehr als Belastung. <\/span>However, his parents noticed that Foridul walked differently than his five siblings. He <\/span>staggered and got tired quickly. After examinations he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Foridul grew up, his family wanted him to go to school. He attended school until grade six, but he couldn\u2019t keep up with other students and made little progress. He didn’t enjoy <\/span>going to school. At the age of twelve, he ran away from home and found a job on a <\/span>cattle farm. However, he could not stay there for long and returned home after six months. <\/span>His life became increasingly difficult, and his family started to see him as an additional <\/span>burden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Er arbeitete in einem kleinen Restaurant f\u00fcr sehr wenig Geld. F\u00fcr beeintr\u00e4chtigte Menschen ist es besonders schwierig Arbeit zu bekommen und sie werden oft auch ausgenutzt. Die Arbeit im Restaurant war sehr streng und er bekam starke Schmerzen in seinen Beinen. \n2015 h\u00f6rte er von unserem Projekt und kontaktierte uns. Nach einem Aufnahmegespr\u00e4ch fing er bei uns an. Die Arbeit im Garten bereitete ihm viel mehr Freude als die Arbeit im Hotel. Wir waren mit seiner Arbeit sehr zufrieden. Inzwischen hat er Rupantor verlassen und f\u00e4hrt heute seine eigene Rikscha. Mit dieser Arbeit verdient er wesentlich mehr und kann zum Einkommen seiner Familie beitragen. Er ist ein gesch\u00e4tztes und respektiertes Familienmitglied. Foriduls Geschichte ist eine Erfolgsgeschichte und sein Leben hat sich sehr positiv ver\u00e4ndert. because there were enough other workers who were just waiting for a job. In Bangladesh there are <\/span>not enough jobs available for all people, especially not for differently abled people. <\/span>People with a disability receive little or no assistance and face cultural barriers that prevent <\/span>them from fully and equally participating in social, economic, political, and cultural activities. <\/span><\/p>


<\/span><\/p>

Because of all the walking involved in his job, Foridul started to suffer from <\/span>leg pain. In 2015 he heard about our project and contacted us. After an admission interview, <\/span>he was able to join. He enjoyed working in the garden much more than working for the <\/span>hotel. Till 2022 he worked primarily as a gardener. Today he looks after our cows and goats <\/span>which he enjoys even more than gardening. <\/span><\/p>

We are very satisfied with Foridul’s work and attitude. He <\/span>is a reliable and very motivated. <\/span>His father recently bought him a rickshaw which he uses to earn some extra <\/span>money. He also makes trips for us occasionally. His additional income is very welcomed, as <\/span>he now can contribute significantly to his family’s income. He is a valued and respected <\/span>member of the family. He also got married last year and lives with his wife in his parents’ <\/span>house. Foridul\u2019s story is a success story, and his life has truly transformed since joining<\/span><\/p>\n
